After the Final Goodbye

About the project
After the Final Goodbye is a piano composition I wrote in E minor and dedicated to my father. I never had the chance to say a final goodbye to him, and losing him meant losing someone who held a very important place in my life.
He gave me a great deal throughout my life and, in many ways, he was someone I looked up to. That is why this piece is my most personal musical expression. It carries remembrance, admiration, gratitude and a sense of humility in the face of how fragile and limited our time really is.
For me, it is also a reminder that life is the most precious thing we have. Both we and the people close to us are here only for a limited time, and sometimes we only realise the true value of the moments we shared when we can no longer bring them back.
After the Final Goodbye is therefore not only the farewell I never had the chance to say, but also a way of saying thank you for everything my father gave me.
